format · hybrid events
A hybrid event production company for corporate events in New York and nationally. Town halls, SKOs, investor days and conferences, with remote audiences treated as equals.
HYBRID · REMOTE GUESTS LIVEthe honest version
Hybrid is worth it when the remote audience matters as much as the room: a global town hall, an investor day, a conference with members who can't travel.
It isn't worth it when the stream is an afterthought. A single camera on a tripod at the back of a ballroom is not a hybrid event, and remote viewers can tell. If that is the budget, we'll tell you, and help you decide whether to stream at all.
what changes
Timing built for both audiences, including what remote viewers see during breaks.
Cameras placed for the stream, not just for IMAG in the room.
Presenters on video who look and sound like they are on stage.
Questions from the room and from the platform, moderated together.
A clean feed to your platform, with a backup path.
crew and signal flow
A hybrid show adds a broadcast to a live event. That means a camera team, a switcher and graphics operator, a separate audio mix for the stream, encoders and a platform producer, all called by the same show caller who runs the stage.
For the technical detail, see live broadcast and streaming. For who calls it all, see show management.

Big AV quotes are written by the company that sells the gear, the labor and the add-ons. We don't own a warehouse or rent equipment, so our only interest is the right show at a fair price. Send the plan or quote for your hybrid event, or just get on a call. A producer takes a look and tells you honestly whether we can do it better. If we don't think so, we'll say that too.
pick your format
Hybrid is one format among three. See virtual event production and in-person events.
We produce one show for two audiences: the people in their seats and the people watching online. That means staging and AV for the venue plus the cameras, broadcast and platform delivery for remote viewers, all called by the same show caller from one desk. Remote attendees get a real show, not a camera at the back.
A live stream broadcasts what happens on stage. A hybrid event treats the online audience as participants: they ask questions, vote in polls and hear from remote presenters, and the show is planned for them as well as for the venue. Hybrid takes more cameras, a separate audio mix and a moderator, which is why it's scoped differently.
It's worth it when the remote audience matters as much as the people in the venue: a global town hall, an investor day, a conference with members who can't travel. It isn't worth it when the stream is an afterthought. If the budget only covers one camera on a tripod, we'll tell you, and help you decide whether a simple stream or a recording serves you better.
It depends on the number of cameras, the graphics, remote presenters, the platform and how much redundancy you need. Adding a remote audience isn't a fixed percentage of your in-person budget; it's a second show with its own crew. We break it out in a comprehensive production budget so you can see what each choice adds and decide what's worth it.
Usually the one your audience already uses, as long as it can handle your Q&A, polling and security needs. We're platform-agnostic and have delivered to Goldcast, Swapcard, Brandlive, Cvent, ON24 and Zoom, among others. If you're choosing a new one, we'll help you compare them against what your show actually needs.
Close. We ship a camera, light and microphone kit or set up a managed studio, rehearse with the presenter on the same connection they'll use live, and treat their feed like another camera on stage. With good audio, lighting and a stable connection, the audience sees a presenter, not a video call.
One moderator sees questions from the venue and the platform together, so online attendees get equal time instead of waiting until the end. The show caller cues the microphones in the venue and the cameras or remote feeds for each question, and online questions are read aloud so everyone hears them.
Yes. We're based in New York and produce coast to coast and on four continents, with the same producer and the same desk wherever the project lands. See where we produce. Connecting audiences across several tour stops? See hybrid roadshows.
