green light review · a free consultation with a producer
Free advice from a producer before you sign a Big AV quote.
We care about the shows we produce and the people who hire us. Big AV tends to show up, sell the package and move on to the next job. We sit at the table with you before anything is signed, and stay with you to the last cue.
a Big AV quote
Written by the company that sells the gear, the labor and the add-ons.
a green light review
Read by a producer with nothing to rent you. One interest: the right show at a fair price.
Share last year's quote, this year's scope or just your vision. We'll help you work out how to produce your next event and make sure every dollar of your spend is a smart one. We'd love a seat at the table, and either way you'll leave with a clearer plan.

15 minutes on Google Meet. Bring last year's numbers if you have them, or just tell us about the show. You'll speak with a senior producer, not a sales rep.

three ways to start
Every route ends the same way: a senior producer looks at your show and gives you a straight answer in 1 to 2 business days. Free, with an NDA if you need one.

why we offer it
Most production starts with a quote for gear. Ours starts with your show and your team's goals. The gear is the same almost anywhere. What changes the result is the process: understanding what you're after, preparing your executives, and steering every piece toward it. The review is our way of earning a seat at your table by being useful first.
Vendor agnostic. We spec the room, not our inventory.
Show and AV, one desk. Most events split them between two vendors and hope they talk. We run both.
Senior-led since 2006. Producers who came up in live television, where nothing gets a second take.
Responsive, start to finish. A producer answers when you call, from the first planning call to the final cue.
AT THE SHOW DESKhow a green light review works
Last year's scope, quote or invoice. Or answer five questions, or just talk it through on a call.
We look at the show as a whole: what it needs, how it's put together, and where there may be a better way.
Honest feedback on where you stand and whether we think we can do it better. If we don't, we'll say so.
Want to go further? We put a detailed proposal together, then stay with you from concept to final cue. Or take what you learned back to your current team. No strings.
even if you stay put
Happy with your current team? Good. Walk into your next renewal with an honest outside read on your show. That's a fine outcome for us too. We'd rather earn your next show than pressure you into this one.
what happens after you submit
You hear from us within 1 to 2 business days. A producer confirms what we received and asks about anything missing.
We take a look. Scope, venue, in-house AV rules, labor. We look at what your show actually needs.
We talk it through. A short call with our honest feedback: where you stand and whether we think we can do better. Then it's yours to use.
BUILT FOR THE PEOPLE WHO OWN THE SHOW
Same kickoff, a clearer plan, one team running point.
Annual meetings and investor days that stream right and stay on budget.
More meeting for the dues dollar, with a producer on your side.
Every dollar not spent on production is a dollar for the mission.
An honest outside read before the PO goes out. For procurement →
for procurement and finance
We price every project to be clear, concise and efficient, and we often come in well under the big AV companies. Dollars should never get in the way of a good relationship, and there are never surprises.
Crew, gear, labor, venue charges and management, scoped room by room, so it lines up against any other bid. Use our RFP template to get every bid in the same format. RFP template →
We manage the venue's team or bring in our own vendors, and handle patch, power and rigging fees either way.
Fully insured. We're happy to supply a certificate of insurance and sign an NDA when needed.
Whatever you have: last year's quote, scope, invoice or RFP, this year's plan, or a current AV quote. No documents? Answer five quick questions, or just talk it through with a producer on a call. The more we see, the more specific the feedback, but there's no wrong way to start.
Yes. There's no fee, no contract and no obligation to hire us. You get an honest read on your show from a senior producer, and what you do with it is up to you.
No catch. It's a sample of how we work: responsive, hands-on and honest. We're betting that once you've had a producer on your side, you'll want one for the whole show. If not, you still leave with an outside read.
A producer gets back to you in 1 to 2 business days. If your deadline is tighter, say so when you send it and we'll tell you what's possible.
Corporate events, sales kickoffs, investor days, town halls, conferences, association meetings, galas, hybrid and virtual events and live broadcasts. Most often we're reviewing Big AV proposals: in-house venue AV quotes and national AV company bids, written by the people who sell the gear. We also review outside production quotes, scopes and last year's invoices. If it's a production line on a budget, we can read it.
We'll tell you, plainly. Sometimes the quote you have is fair and the plan is sound, and that's useful to know before you sign. A straight answer is the whole point of the review.
Then use the review to plan next year, or to pressure-test change orders and add-ons before they land. Plenty of savings show up in the scope and the change orders, not just the original quote.
Our producers, and only to review your show. We never share your pricing with other clients or vendors, and we're happy to sign an NDA on request.
Not a formal price, but you won't leave empty-handed. A producer will give you ballparks and guidance: what a show like yours should realistically cost, where your current quote is high, and where you could save. If you want to go further, we'll put together a detailed proposal with a comprehensive production budget.
Yes. We're based in New York and produce coast to coast and on four continents, with the same producer and the same desk wherever the project lands. See where we produce. Reviewing a quote for a multi-city tour? See what roadshow production should include.
p.s. even if you stay put, you'll walk away with a clearer picture of your show.
