sales kickoffs

Sales kickoff production that starts the year on cue.

Keynotes, awards, breakouts and the energy in between, planned and run by one senior-led team. We prep your leaders, call every cue and make the content that opens the general session.

why it matters

An SKO is a lot of shows in one week.

A main stage, breakouts, an awards night, a CEO keynote, and a sales leader who wants to change their slides at 11pm. Usually with a separate vendor for every piece of it.

We run it as one production, from one desk, so the main stage, the breakouts and the awards all work from the same plan. Your sales team walks out fired up, and nobody remembers the 11pm slide change. (We do. We fixed it.)

already in motion?

Inherited a January kickoff? We step in mid-flight.

New in the role, or the plan stalled? We can join late. A producer reviews where things stand, keeps the venue and vendors you've already booked where they're working, and takes the production off your plate from here to the final cue.

Free. A producer's honest read in 1 to 2 business days.

Workday Elevate.

600 to 700 attendees. We ran production management for the keynote stage, five breakout rooms and the expo demo areas, and produced the keynote show itself: show calling, graphics and stage management.

We also produced ION’s global sales kickoff.

Big AV quotes are written by the company that sells the gear, the labor and the add-ons. We don't own a warehouse or rent equipment, so our only interest is the right show at a fair price. Send the plan or last year's quote for your SKO, or just get on a call. A producer takes a look and tells you honestly whether we can do it better. If we don't think so, we'll say that too.

Sales kickoff questions.

When should we start planning an SKO?

As soon as the dates and venue are set, and for a January kickoff that usually means the summer or early fall before. Good crews and venues book early for January and February. Starting early also leaves time to plan content, speaker rehearsals and the awards night properly. Already late? We can step in mid-flight.

Can you take over an SKO that's already in motion?

Yes. A producer reviews where things stand, keeps the venue and vendors you've booked where they're working, and takes the production off your plate from there to the final cue. If you're new in the role or the plan has stalled, a Green Light Review of the current plan is a good first step.

What does SKO production cost?

It depends on the number of days, the general session, how many breakouts run at once, the awards night, content and whether you stream to remote sellers. Production is one part of the total, alongside travel, hotel and food. We build a comprehensive production budget so you can see what each choice costs and where the money matters most.

Can you make the opener and recap video too?

Yes. We shoot as well as we stage. The same team that runs the show makes the opener, the sizzle, award walk-up videos and a same-day recap, so the content fits the stage and the run of show. There's no handoff between a video vendor and the production team.

Can you produce the awards night too?

Yes. Awards and recognition run from the same desk as the main stage: walk-up music, honoree graphics, presenter scripts and the timing that keeps the energy up across dozens of names. We rehearse the walk-ups so every winner gets their moment and the night still ends on time.

Can our remote team watch live?

Yes. We stream the general session to any platform, with a backup path, so sellers who couldn't fly in see the same keynote as everyone in their seats. We can also record sessions for on-demand viewing afterward.

Do you handle travel, hotel blocks and registration?

No. That's event planning, and we work alongside whoever handles it: your events team, a meeting planner or an agency. We own the production: staging, AV, the run of show, content and show calling. Keeping the roles clear means nothing falls between the planner and the production.

Do you produce events outside New York?

Yes. We're based in New York and produce coast to coast and on four continents, with the same producer and the same desk wherever the project lands. See where we produce. Taking your kickoff on the road? See regional kickoff roadshows.
