New York has been home base since 2006. We produce sales kickoffs, town halls, investor days and conferences across the country and around the world, and the producers who plan your show run it on site.

producing on the road

What changes when the show leaves New York.

The show itself doesn’t change. The rules around it do. Every city brings its own labor rules, venue contracts and logistics, and catching them early is what keeps a show on budget.

  • Labor rules

Some cities run union houses with minimum calls and set overtime triggers. Others don’t. We read the venue’s rules before we quote, not after.

  • In-house AV

Most hotels and convention centers have an exclusive or preferred AV partner. We compare both paths and manage whichever one makes sense.

  • Ship or rent locally

Sometimes it costs less to rent gear in the market than to truck it in. We price both and pick the one that serves the show.

  • Load-in and access

Dock times, freight elevators and permits for outdoor work. We book them when the venue is booked.

  • Local crew

We hire technicians we trust in each market and brief them before load-in, so they arrive already knowing the plan.

Programs we’ve produced around the world.

Our desk is in New York, but our shows aren’t limited to it. We’ve produced programs in London, São Paulo, Singapore, Toronto and Montreal, with the same approach we use at home: the producers who plan it run it on site. See our international work →

What we plan for when a show crosses a border.

  • Power and equipmentVoltage, plugs and broadcast standards differ outside the U.S. We plan what ships, what we rent locally and what needs converting.
  • Shipping and customsGear that crosses a border needs paperwork and lead time. We build both into the schedule.
  • Time zonesLive streams, remote speakers and rehearsals get scheduled for every audience, not just the one in the venue.
  • Local partnersWe work with crews and vendors on the ground and brief them the same way we brief crews at home.

Producing outside New York: your questions.

Do you produce corporate events outside New York?

Yes. New York has been home base since 2006, and we produce sales kickoffs, town halls, investor days, conferences and galas across the country. The producers who plan your show travel with it and run it on site.

Do you produce events outside the U.S.?

Yes. We’ve produced programs in London, São Paulo, Singapore, Toronto and Montreal. We plan for local power standards, shipping and customs, time zones and local crew from the start.

Do you bring your own crew, or hire locally?

Both. Our producers travel with the show, and we hire experienced local technicians we trust in each market. Everyone is briefed before load-in, so the crew on site already knows the plan.

Can you work with a venue’s in-house AV?

Yes. Most hotels and convention centers have an exclusive or preferred AV partner. We read the contract, compare using the house team with bringing in our own, and manage whichever path serves the show. More on AV management.

How do you handle union labor in other cities?

We check the venue’s labor rules before we quote: which jobs union crew must do, minimum calls and when overtime starts. The schedule and the budget are built around those rules, so labor doesn’t surprise you on the invoice.

Can you run a multi-city roadshow?

Yes. Roadshows run on one plan with one producing team, so the last stop feels as tight as the first. We adapt to each venue’s rules while keeping the show itself consistent. More on multi-city roadshow production.

How do travel costs work?

Everything, travel included, is scoped and priced before you approve the budget. We don’t mark up travel. It’s billed at cost, plus the necessary per diem.

Don’t see your city?

We go where the show is. Tell us the city and the date, and a producer will tell you how we’d run it. Talk to a producer.

what can we help you solve?

If there's a stage, we'll get there.
