Corporate event production in Los Angeles.

Live events in Los Angeles, owned end to end. For SCORE's 60th anniversary tour, we produced the Los Angeles stop in full, from the venue and AV to front of house, back of house and every detail in between.

SCORE's 60th anniversary tour

We produced the Los Angeles stop of SCORE's 60th anniversary tour: front of house, back of house, AV and logistics, run by our producers from planning through the last guest out.

Part of a tour

One plan, many cities

Los Angeles was one stop on a national tour we also produced in Des Moines and Houston. One plan kept every stop consistent while each adapted to its venue.

What producing in Los Angeles involves.

Distance and traffic drive the schedule. Crew calls, deliveries and talent arrivals are planned around drive times, not just distances, so load-in starts on time.

Hotels and event venues often have exclusive in-house AV, and many work with union labor. We read the venue's rules before we quote and build the plan around them.

Shooting in public spaces usually needs a film permit, and some locations need more lead time than others. We start permits early when a program includes video on location.

site visits

We see the venue before we plan the show.

In Los Angeles, a site visit settles the questions a floor plan can't: parking and load-in for the trucks, drive times between hotel and venue, and how the house team likes to work.

  • Walk the venue. Power, rigging points, sightlines, load-in path and where the crew can actually stage.
  • Meet the house team. In-house AV, the event manager and the engineer, before anyone signs.
  • Read the fine print. Labor rules, exclusives and fees go into the plan and the budget up front.

green light review · a free consultation with a producer

Engaging Big AV? Get a free review before you sign.

Big AV quotes are written by the company that sells the gear, the labor and the add-ons. We don't own a warehouse or rent equipment, so our only interest is the right show at a fair price. Send the plan or quote for your Los Angeles show, or just get on a call. A producer takes a look and tells you honestly whether we can do it better. If we don't think so, we'll say that too.

Los Angeles production questions.

Can you run an entire event, not just the AV?

Yes. For SCORE's 60th anniversary tour stop in Los Angeles, we handled front of house, back of house, AV and logistics. We can own the whole event or slot in alongside your team.

Can you produce a multi-city tour?

Yes. The SCORE tour also included stops we produced in Des Moines and Houston. One plan and one producing team keep every stop consistent.

How do travel costs work?

Everything, travel included, is scoped and priced before you approve the budget. We don't mark up travel. It's billed at cost, plus the necessary per diem. See where we produce. Touring a launch from LA to other markets? See roadshow production.
