An event production company in NYC since 2006. Union houses, hotel ballrooms, in-house AV and tight load-in windows, handled by producers who work here every week.
NEW YORKproducing in nyc
Union houses with their own labor rules. Hotel ballrooms with exclusive in-house AV. Load-in windows measured in hours, freight elevators booked to the minute, and loading docks shared with three other events.
None of it is a surprise if you plan for it. We do, every week.
That means reading the venue contract before anything is quoted, booking the freight elevator and the dock when the room is booked, and building a schedule around the hours the union crew is actually allowed to work. It means knowing which rooms need rigging points ordered weeks ahead, and which hotels charge a patch fee to connect an outside audio console.
It also means local crew who know the buildings. We hire New York technicians we have worked with for years, brief them before load-in, and run the show from one desk so nothing gets lost between the venue, the vendors and you.

bringing your own production in
Most NYC hotels have an exclusive or preferred in-house AV partner, and bringing in an outside vendor can carry patch, power and rigging fees. We manage either path. See AV management, and more guides on AV and venues.

Big AV quotes are written by the company that sells the gear, the labor and the add-ons. We don't own a warehouse or rent equipment, so our only interest is the right show at a fair price. Send the plan or quote for your New York show, or just get on a call. A producer takes a look and tells you honestly whether we can do it better. If we don't think so, we'll say that too.
Most NYC hotels have an exclusive or preferred in-house AV partner, and many reserve services like rigging, power and house sound. Bringing in an outside vendor is often possible but can carry patch, power and rigging fees. Read the contract before you sign; we can help you compare both paths and manage either one. More on AV management.
Many do. Union houses and many hotel ballrooms have their own labor rules: which jobs union crew must do, minimum calls and when overtime starts. We build the schedule and the budget around those rules from the start, so labor doesn't surprise you on the invoice.
A lot. NYC load-ins are measured in hours, freight elevators are booked to the minute, and loading docks are often shared with other events. We book the dock and the elevator when the venue is booked, and build the production schedule around the hours crew can actually work, so the show is ready before doors open.
As early as you can once the date is set, especially in the busy Fall and Spring seasons, when experienced crew and rigging book up first. We hire New York technicians we've worked with for years and brief them before load-in.
Yes. We produced the unveiling of the Women's Rights Pioneers Monument on Central Park's Literary Walk, carried live on the Today Show, coordinating with the park, the Central Park Conservancy and city offices. Outdoors means planning power, weather and approvals early, and we build that into the schedule from day one.
